Duo Security is a cybersecurity company specializing in two-factor authentication and access security solutions. Cisco acquired Duo Security in 2018 for $2.35 billion to enhance its security portfolio and zero-trust networking capabilities. Through its parent company Cisco, Duo technology becomes part of military and surveillance infrastructure systems.
