Who Profits Research Center
The Who Profits Research Center is an independent research organization that documents corporate involvement in the Israeli occupation of Palestinian and Syrian territories. Who Profits operates from Haifa with the stated mission of exposing business complicity in occupation policies. The organization maintains a database of over 400 companies categorized across three main sectors: the settlement industry, exploitation of occupied natural resources, and control of Palestinian population. Their research methodology relies on public records, government documents, corporate publications, and field investigations to document how companies profit from Israeli settlement expansion and military control systems.
Who Profits research directly contributed to the UN Human Rights Council's 2020 database of companies involved in settlement activities. The organization's reports have also influenced and contributed to the divestment decisions by institutional investors and provided evidence for BDS campaigns targeting corporations across sectors including technology, construction, tourism, and war contracting.
