Microsoft HoloLens
Microsoft HoloLens is Microsoft’s self-contained mixed-reality headset that projects interactive 3-D holograms into the wearer’s field of view, letting users see and manipulate digital content while keeping their hands free.
Military use
The same core hardware underpins the U.S. Army’s Integrated Visual Augmentation System (IVAS), a ruggedised HoloLens 2 variant that fuses night-vision, navigation, and battlefield data into a single heads-up display. Microsoft has delivered multiple IVAS prototypes under a contract worth up to $22 billion, with a version now field-tested to help American soldiers in their imperialist efforts.
