Beenox operates as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Microsoft Corporation, acquired through the purchase of Activision Blizzard. The studio works on Call of Duty development. As a subsidiary of Activision Blizzard, which is owned by Microsoft, Beenox's games contribute to Microsoft Gaming's revenue streams. This makes Beenox's products subject to BDS boycott campaigns targeting Microsoft due to the parent company's military contracts and technological support provided to Israeli operations.
