Fallout

The Fallout series is a post-apocalyptic role-playing game franchise originally created by Interplay Entertainment. Bethesda acquired the franchise rights in 2007 and developed Fallout 3, Fallout 4, and Fallout 76. Since Microsoft acquired ZeniMax Media (Bethesda's parent company) in 2021 for $8.1 billion, the Fallout franchise is now owned by Microsoft and represents a significant revenue stream for Microsoft Gaming, making it a target of BDS boycott campaigns due to Microsoft's military contracts supporting Israeli operations.
